Next stop was Los Angeles to spend just over a week hanging out with Molly and Nate (who we hadn’t seen for nearly 2 years), as well as other friends Chris had worked with in London. We had a brilliant time spending quality time with friends and exploring California. Highlights:
Going to an LA Dodgers game and purchasing super expensive nachos in a helmet (haha oh the novelty)
Spending a few days exploring the Central Coast... wineries, hikes, beaches, elephant seals, etc.
Realising we all love sandwiches a bit too much and smashing huge sandwiches full of pastrami, Italian deli subs, turkey clubs .... the mouth waters
Enjoying many a local beverage, including getting into the LA ‘celtzer’ culture
Experiencing in-n-out burger and shakes
Getting an insider look at Nate’s music production studio and his art
Finding authentic $2 tacos (delicious)
Embracing LA ‘hiking’ (which is really just short walks).... the Hollywood views at the top of Runyon Canyon and Griffith Observatory were very cool
