You can never have too many mulled wines at Christmas markets in Latvia
In November, a group of 6 of us took advantage of European Christmas markets, making a trip to Riga in Latvia. We arrived after a dump of snow that quickly turned to ice...was great fun trying to carefully walk around the city (which felt like an ice rink) without stacking it... made even more challenging after many mulled wines at the market. There really is something magical about Christmas is Europe... the cold weather, the food and beverages, the handmade Christmas decorations, the big Christmas tree in the middle of the square... it really is magical!
