Romania
Over Easter we spent 5 days driving through Transylvania, Romania. A place oozing with natural beauty.
We visited the most ornate and opulent building we have ever seen, Peles Castle and an amazing fortress high up on the hill.
We explored the beautiful towns of Râşnov, Braşov, and Sibiu, taking in the enchantment of the old narrow streets and colourful buildings. One of the days we visited a bear sanctuary, a very cool concept, that had rescued some 90 + bears from long Iives in cages and altogether terrible conditions.
Finally, we sucked in all the fresh air we could, hiking through the hills and gorges (including a walk in the snow).
